My research interests include teacher retention, school climate, and student service learning.

Julie is a Postdoctoral Associate in the College of Education and with the 麻豆原创 Democracy Initiative. She studies teacher retention, school climate, and student service-learning. Julie is a former middle school teacher and assistant principal, and she earned her B.A. in History from Pennsylvania State University, her M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from Loyola University 麻豆原创, and her Ph.D. in Urban Education from the 麻豆原创.
